Meet Our Girls

Family Dinner

Family Dinner

There is nothing in our lives that is more precious than our daughters. Each of them came into our lives in a different way with a unique story and their presence has made us better parents, better people and better reflections of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. We have seven wonderful ladies who call us Dad and Mom. One came to us through the gift of birth and six through the gift of adoption. We are blessed beyond measure that they are in our lives. One day, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to know them – trust me, it’s an honor.

Katya Grace

Katya Grace

Katya is our oldest, born July 14, 1992 in the Ukraine. She was our Valentine’s Day gift in 2011 – the day we first learned her story and knew that God was delivering another daughter into our family. We met her the next day and she joined our family on 2/16. She is an incredible young woman whose courage and resilience astound me daily.

Katya speaks both Russian and English. She’s recently completed a year of ministry training through Jeanne Mayo’s Master’s Commission Atlanta program.

Kelsey Joy

Kelsey Joy

Kelsey was our second adoption, third daughter and the oldest for many years. She was born November 30, 1992 and joined our family on May 22, 2008. There is such a thing as a “surprise” adoption – Kelsey was our surprise. In Foster Care off-and-on since she was 8, we learned her story when she was 15 and her adoptive placement disrupted. We told the caseworker that Kelsey could join our family and met her for the first time the day she moved in.

Kelsey is mom to our three adorable grandkids: Juan Adrian, Jayden James & Adriana Lee

Seara Serenity

Seara Serenity

Seara is our sixth daughter. She was born April 8th, 1994 and joined our family in June 2013. She is a thinker, creator and leader. Her passions are nurturing others, creating things – jewlery, clothing and artwork (to name only a few) and exploring meaning in everything she does. She is such a sweet blessing to our family.

Seara speaks Cambodian and English. She’s headed into her second year as a ministry student in Jeanne Mayo’s Masters Commission Atlanta program.

Elizabeth Sarang (love)

Elizabeth Sarang (love)

Elizabeth Yeaeun Harang (Jesus’ blessing & love)

Elizabeth is our fifth daughter and third oldest – she joined our family in September 2012 and has brought laughter, joy and spoiled the dog every day since. She was born September 1, 1994 and has already graduated high school and earned a full scholarship to college. She is a delight in our lives – a hard worker who is full of humor & spunk (I’m almost certain she should be an actress – especially when she’s sick!).

Elizabeth speaks both Korean and English. She will be attending Georgia State University to pursue a degree in law.

Charlie Selah

Charlie is our seventh daughter – she joined our family in September of 2013 and has such an amazingly sweet spirit, fun personality and love for Jesus. She was born September 27, 1995 and actually joined our family the day after her 18th birthday. We are so excited to see what the future holds for this amazing young woman and are extremely honored to be her parents.

Charlie is a senior in high school. She plans on attending college after graduation.

Kristan Faith

Kristan Faith

Kristan is our daughter by birth – a precious gift of God that we have treasured from the moment we learned of her presence. She came into this world red-faced and screaming with a fully-functional set of lungs that she continues to use today as a fantastic singer, guitar player and songwriter. An only child until she was 11, Kristan begged us for a sister from the time she was about 5. Her love, acceptance and faithfulness to her sisters is precious.

She is currently a Senior in high school who enjoys her friends, church & hanging out with the family. She hopes to attend University of Georgia after graduation.

Heather Hope

Heather Hope

Our precious Heather was the beginning of our journey. Born April 14, 1996 we first saw her picture on an adoption website on 7/7/07 (pretty perfect) and feel in love with her sweet smile. She is our family clown, social butterfly and affectionate sweetheart. One of her greatest passions is working with little kids – she’s a perfect babysitter!

Heather is currently a Junior in high school who loves hanging with friends, spending time with her nephews and anything social!
