More About Me...

I am a wife, mother, follower of Jesus and friend. I live life by faith and understand that God's plans for me are always better than any plans I can have for myself. I don't consider myself a writer, but I love to write. I blog about my experiences, my passions, my thoughts and my failures. It all matters to me, but only some of it may matter to you. Enjoy.

Just a Little More...

My tagline is significant to me because I truly believe that "the rest is still unwritten" - I've learned to simply live each day with gratitude and happiness. You really, honestly don't ever know what tomorrow holds. So, just enjoy the journey.

100 Things to Be Thankful for…

A recurring problem that we all suffer from today is a lack of gratitude. I’m certainly not exempt, days can go by that I focus solely on my problems, challenges, or projects and never stop to look around at all I have to be so thankful for. So, in honor of thankfulness and out of inspiration from WonderDawg (a friend of mine who is a terrific blogger and loves lists, numbers and goals in his blogging) - I’m committing to find and blog about 100 things that I have to be thankful for - from the most mundane to the most inspirational.

So, here goes with the first and second entry on my list, just two things that I gave thanks for this morning:

#1: A daughter who rivals me in loving to get up early (this pic was taken just a little after 6 this morning) and blog. Psst…she also likes penguins … note the ‘thankful penguin’ in my header graphic. You’re welcome Kristan.

I had to pull back and catch the penguin reflection in the window glass…..told you she loves them.

#2: If you live in Atlanta, you have to be thankful for low traffic days. Today was one of those blissful traffic mornings where we got to drive like normal folks and not crawl like turtles. Yes, I’m deeply grateful. And, yes, our windshield needs to be cleaned - but, don’t be hatin’ - remember, we’re celebrating spontaneous thankfulness.

Have a wonderful and grateful weekend!

Practicing thankfulness,
