I love summer. Sun. Water. Parks. Beaches. Fun. It’s always full of great memories and opportunities to have fun with friends and family. The past few weeks have been extrememly busy and fun for us. Here’s just a snapshot of what’s been keeping us so busy lately.

We spent a weekend with our friends, Joel & Ellie and their adorable son, Grady, when they came to visit from Raleigh. We enjoyed the Aquarium, a Braves Game, some Varsity food, some Wii boxing and lots of great time together laughing and enjoying each others company.

We spent a day at Six Flags and enjoyed an evening Drake Bell concert (that’s Drake from Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh for those older folks out there). The girls had a blast, especially Heather who somehow made it right up front on the rail through the entire concert. She was ecstatic, to say the least. It was fun, and, yes, he is cute.

We had a backyard camp out. We set the tent up for the girls so they could spend the night outside under the stars. Steve made a camp fire and we roasted hot dogs and made s’mores. It was so much fun, right in our own backyard. The girls had fun hanging in the tent…. but (as we expected) didn’t make it all night. I awoke the next morning to find them all in the house. :o) they must have heard the wild suburban atlanta animals or big foot or a monster or….

We spent several days hanging out at Six Flags White Water park with our good friends, Karl & Sayu and their adorable daughter, Noelle. It was tons of fun and we still have the sunburns to prove it! :o)

On the 4th of July we enjoyed a great afternoon of food and fellowship with our friends Karl & Sayu at their home. After that, we went to a Braves vs. Astros game (the Braves won - yea!!) and enjoyed the post-game fireworks show.

All in all, we’re having a great summer.
